Endometriosis

"I feel so fortunate to have found Cindi! I have endometriosis and I started seeing her in August to help treat my symptoms. She is so knowledgeable about endometriosis, which is such a breath of fresh air compared to western doctors. Since I began sessions with her, I have been able to get off of all hormonal birth control and treat my endo 100% naturally. Whenever I am having a flare up she listens to my current symptoms and treats me accordingly. She has also recommended herbs and heat therapy that I do between sessions and those have helped with my symptoms a ton. I once lost my voice from a cold and saw her 2 days in a row and she was able to restore my voice! She is truly so gifted and caring. Having a chronic disease and pain can be very scary, but Cindi has given me hope and shown me that I can manage my symptoms and get by day to day naturally."

"After two surgeries (within two years) to get rid of endometriosis, I was told that I either needed to go on hormone meds or try acupuncture. Over the past year-and-a-half, I have had the privilege of being under Cindi's care to help with my endometriosis.

"Other than the time when I went three weeks without seeing her, I have not had any problems with my endometriosis. Since seeing Cindi, I have had little to no pain and have started having, what I would call, a more "normal" cycle.

"In addition to her professionalism and care, I really enjoyed the environment that she provides her clients. Her treatment rooms are very comfortable, as the beds have soft sheets, there is calming music playing, and at the end of each bed is a heat lamp for colder feet.

"I couldn't have asked for a more knowledgeable, calm, and attentive therapist. Even though I was under her care for endometriosis, she was able to help me with lower back pain, stress, and overall well-being. I feel like she really listened when I asked her questions, and I felt like she tailored my sessions to what I needed based on what I was feeling during that particular day of the session. I always left feeling like I was more relaxed and better balanced on the inside."

"I see Cindi for weekly acupuncture treatments. I've had endometriosis for years. It's a progressive disease, and it had progressed to the point where the pain was really interfering with my life. I realized there was only so much Advil a person can take, and I wasn't thrilled with the treatments offered by conventional medicine. So, I decided to try acupuncture. I was a bit skeptical at first, but decided that I had nothing to lose. On my first visit, Cindi spent a lot of time asking me about my health concerns. She really listened, and gave me many suggestions for home care that I could try in addition to acupuncture. Cindi is also a licensed herbalist, but I personally do not feel comfortable taking a lot of herbs. I appreciate that Cindi has never tried to pressure me into taking herbs, she is happy to give me the acupuncture treatments I am comfortable with. I have been seeing Cindi regularly for about two years. After about a month, I noticed a big improvement in my endometriosis pain. After a few months, the pain was virtually nonexistent. Cindi is a wonderful practitioner. She's very professional, knowledgeable, conscientious, easy to talk to, and is a really pleasant person. Her office is spotless, and I always leave there totally relaxed and refreshed. Though I originally saw Cindi for endometriosis, she has also successfully treated several other minor health issues I've had over the year."

"I've been seeing Cindi for several years, for issues ranging from allergies, endometriosis, painful menstrual cramps and, most recently, throughout my IVF process. I believe that Western medicine is essential to good health, but I find true inner peace, in much the same way many might find it with meditation, by having acupuncture. To me, it feels very healing. The needles don't hurt - I don't like needles and I absolutely love acupuncture. What I like about Cindi is that she's very educated about medical terms and conditions. I don't have to explain much of anything and most likely she's treated that same ailment before. Once the needles are placed, the room is yours to relax and/or drift off to sleep (I personally almost always sleep). At 11 weeks pregnant with twins and suffering from severe nausea and heartburn, it's the only time I get relief these days. Cindi's extremely good at what she does and I can honestly say the sessions have helped me tremendously."
